INTERVIEW: Mr. Pye and Dr. Harrison

LCEC Podcast Team Episode 2

In this episode, you will hear from two dedicated educators from Dorchester District 2 (DD2), located in South Carolina: Mr. Joseph Pye and Dr. Greg Harrison. The first guest we will hear from is Mr. Joseph Pye, who began his career in education in 1970 as a sixth-grade science teacher. During the course of his 52-year career, he became the longest-serving superintendent in South Carolina. Alongside Mr. Pye, Dr. Greg Harrison has been vital in ensuring the success of DD2’s students. He has held a variety of teaching and administrative positions throughout his 20 years in education, and he is currently the Executive Director of Special Programs for DD2.  Dr. Harrison also serves as chair for the Virtual / Online Learning Leaders’ Roundtable which is a group of representatives from all of LCEC’s district partners.
